USO Schwab I April 2023 I Storytime with Schwab

USO Schwab will host Storytime with Schwab, a program that pairs military children with a “Schwab Reading Buddy” for story time and crafts centralized around a book theme, on Friday, April 21st from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The event takes place on Camp McTuerous at the community center; registration is required and limited. Registration information can be found on our Facebook event page.

*DETAILS: * Join our special Schwab Reading Buddies and us as we pair forward-deployed service members and military children together for story time and a craft. Each child will take home a craft and a copy of their new book. This month’s theme is focused on National Month of the Military Child. We will be reading Mission: My First PCS: The Military Child Chronicles authored by Military Spouse, Athens E. Pellegrino.

• This program will take place at the Community Center on Camp McTuerous from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. -Please note we will planting our very own plant and utilizing potting soil
• We have plenty of volunteers to work with the kids. That means this event is for you too, parents! Relax, grab a snack, and socialize with other parents while we entertain the kids for a while.
