How did the volunteer hear about volunteering with USO Okinawa and what made him/her want to get involved with the USO? SSG Gilboy has worked with the USO at other installations through programs like Better Opportunities for Single Soldiers (BOSS) as well as other community outreach programs.
What’s the best thing about volunteering? SSG Gilboy says he volunteers because, “It feels good to help people who this is their first time on the island.”
