With Deepest Gratitude: Thank You to Mediatti Broadband Communications, Inc.

USO Okinawa staff join Mediatti Broadband Communications team members for a group photo in celebration of their enduring partnership and shared commitment to supporting service members and their families.

USO Okinawa Senior Area Director Phil VanEtten presents an award to Keith Kirkman, President and CEO of Mediatti Broadband Communications, in recognition of MBC’s outstanding support and long-standing partnership with USO Okinawa.
At USO Okinawa, we proudly support the USO’s mission to strengthen the well-being of the people serving in America’s military and their families. From the moment they join the military to their transition back to civilian life, the USO is there—providing vital support and resources through programs, events, tours, and our welcoming USO centers. That mission would not be possible without the generous and continued support of community partners like Mediatti Broadband Communications, Inc., Okinawa, Japan.
We want to take a moment to express our most sincere and heartfelt thank you to the Mediatti team for their unwavering commitment to our service members and the USO. Phil VanEtten, the USO Okinawa Area Director stated, “We are so thankful for MBC’s ongoing support and sponsorship of USO Okinawa. Their sponsorship makes a tremendous impact on our cause by providing the USO with cash contributions and budget relieving in-kind donations of high-speed WiFi and high-definition television. We would otherwise not be able to provide these services. MBC’s leadership and staff are not just great sponsors, they are part of the USO Okinawa family.”
Mediatti’s contributions go far beyond technical support. They provide free high-speed internet and WiFi services to our USO centers across Okinawa, making it possible for our teams to operate effectively and, most importantly, for service members to stay connected to their loved ones back home. Whether it’s a video call to a spouse, a message to a parent, or an email to a friend, these moments of connection are priceless—and made possible through Mediatti’s support.
In addition to internet access, Mediatti also provides cable High-Definition TV service, bringing comfort and familiarity to service members who are far from home. Thanks to Mediatti, they can tune in to their favorite sports games, shows, and news programs—providing not only entertainment but a sense of normalcy and connection to life back in the States.
Moreover, Mediatti offers free technical support and expertly manages our fiber networks, ensuring our centers stay online and responsive at all times. Their team’s professionalism and dedication behind the scenes allow us to focus on what we do best—supporting our military community. As Keith Kirkman, President and CEO of Mediatti Broadband Communications, shares: “MBC is proud that 2025 starts our 11th consecutive year as the Platinum Sponsor of the USO Okinawa. MBC provides our technology to connect the USO Okinawa facilities to VERY fast Internet and HD cable TV. Our cash and in-kind contributions are our way of giving back and supporting service members and their families through the great work of the USO Okinawa team. We look forward to continuing our support of USO Okinawa for many years to come.”
From all of us at USO Okinawa—our staff, volunteers, and most importantly, the service members and families we serve—thank you, Mediatti, from the bottom of our hearts. Your partnership is a shining example of community in action, and your impact is felt every single day.
We are honored to have you as part of the USO family.
