USO Schwab I November Storytime with Schwab

Join USO Schwab for a learning and friendship program through “Storytime with Schwab”.

Join us and our special Schwab Reading Buddies as we pair forward-deployed service members and military children together for story time and a craft. Each child will take home a craft and a copy of their new book. This month’s theme is focused around Thanksgiving. We will be reading “How to Catch a Turkey”, by Adam Wallace & Andy Elkerton , participating in a scavenger hunt, and making our very own turkeys. This program will take place at the Camp Courtney Softball Field on Camp Courtney on November12th, from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. This month’s program will take place outdoors as we’ll be participating in a fall scavenger hunt, families are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair to sit on.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION (REQUIRED)

One parent per family attending, please. This helps us to maintain social distancing in this venue. We have plenty of volunteers to help with the children!

Please register all attendees with individual names, including adults. For children, ages are required. SPECIAL PRE-REGISTRATION: Camp Schwab Families are invited to a special weekend pre-registration event from Wednesday, November 3rd at 9:00am until Thursday, November 4th, at 5:00pm. Please use the instructions below to secure tickets before they go on sale to the general public. Note: This is only available to families with a service member attached to Camp Schwab. Click the green button Click the blue font above the tickets that says “enter promo code”. Enter the code “SchwabFamily” (no spaces, no quotations, not case-sensitive).

Masks are required at all times during the event by both parents and children regardless of vaccination status. Participants will be asked to wash their hands or sanitize prior to the activity.
